GLOBAL: Land-Based Financing for Urban Regeneration PPPs (Phase 2)

PPIAF supported an activity which focused on the creation of a framework to de-regulate land use policies to enable land-based infrastructure finance in India. This activity will provide the background material for drafting legislation at the federal level in India, and a model that the states of India could also adopt. The policy analysis outputs will also be relevant to the international public finance and policy development community, and a separate report geared towards a more international audience will also be produced. This follow-on support is comprehensively disseminating the toolkit and case studies, including translation into two languages, to broaden outreach to client governments.
