PPP Development in the Caribbean

This programmatic engagement for the Caribbean Region focuses on building the enabling environment for PPP activities in the region. The Program involves a two-phase approach. The first phase focuses on strengthening the enabling environment for PPPs while the second phase focuses on establishing a Regional PPP Unit and Project Preparation Facility. This programs builds on a study and report supported by PPIAF: “Caribbean Infrastructure PPP Roadmap”. PPIAF is implementing this program in partnership with the World Bank Group (WBG), the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF). The first phase of this program is currently implemented under the Caribbean Regional PPP Support activity featured below.
