Component B (Activity 7): PPIAF's program also includes assistance to the Development Bank of Zambia (development finance institution) to prepare for accessing the local debt capital market to mobilize resources and to begin to develop a lending program for sub-national entities. To help these initiatives take root, the program includes support to a small activity to replicate local best practice in a second utility, and includes support to training institutes under the national capacity building and training program.
