VIETNAM: Financing Options Study for Private Sector Participation in Energy Efficiency Projects in Da Nang, Vietnam

This is a joint technical assistance with Sustainable Urban Energy Emissions Planning (SUEEP) Program, a World Bank East Asia and Pacific (EAP) regional program, in order to help Da Nang City, Vietnam to develop its own energy and emission plan and to attract private sector participation in the energy efficient infrastructure. SUEEP was initiated with support from AusAid in 2011, in order to promote solutions that would help delink high levels of carbon-intensive energy use from urban growth in EAP region. The SUEEP initiative provides a comprehensive framework and step-by-step guidelines to help cities to develop its own energy and emission plan.
