TANZANIA: PPP Pipeline Screening

During 2013, PPIAF supported a pipeline assessment of Tanzanian PPP project alongside development of the PPP Finance Regulations, development of operational guidance for the PPP Finance Unit and development of an initial guideline for the PPP Facilitation Fund. The pipeline assessment aims to demonstrate the approach that should be taken for assessment of the merits of projects proposed for procurement, contracting and implementation through PPP. The final report provides comments, suggestions and critical queries to the potential of the assessed projects – proposing a critical path of essential actions to take studied projects forward.
