RWANDA: Energy Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA) institutional reform program and developing a master and investment plan for the water utility -Phase 2: Implementation of EWSA reform

This activity follows on a previous PPIAF support to EWSA. The second part of support reviewed the performance of the water and sanitation sector and proposed options for the restructuring of the water and sanitation specific activities of EWSA. The activity supported the Ministry of Infrastructure to review performance of the water and sanitation sector and propose options for the restructuring for the water and sanitation specific activities into a sustainable autonomous entity and support to develop a strategic business plan and investment plan for the company to move towards a sustainable company offering improved water and sanitation services.
