Philippines: Support to Establishing a Local PPP Program

The objective of this activity is to improve the use of the Philippines PPP Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF) to support the successful implementation of local-level PPPs. This will be done through:
1.    Support the Philippines PPP Center develop a local PPP project preparation facility that is better adapted to the needs, capacity, and shorter political timelines of local level projects; and
2.    Explore the potential for standardizing local PPP project development in GRID sectors (green, resilient, inclusive development) such as solid waste management and waste-to-energy projects, urban mobility, or integration of renewable energy in small utility systems that are not connected to the main regional grids.
