NIGERIA: Support Deployment of Rooftop and Grid-based Solar

The overall Programmatic Advisory Services and Analytics (PASA) work program was launched with PASA 1.0 activities and has seen the very successful completion of all planned activities meeting the output indicators and on track to meet outcome indicators by the closing of this program. For PASA 2.0 the team plans to continue the various successful activities and introduce new ones that meet the PASA objectives to facilitate existing reforms, identify new reforms, and build consensus in reforms. As part of this effort, several new activities have been designed to support the FGN’s clean energy transition efforts and increase stakeholder engagement and build support for the reforms to increase private investment in the sector. The PPIAF grant will support the following:

• Solar Rooftop Phase II- Urban access platform for Lagos and Solar rooftop market assessment for Kaduna
• South-South Knowledge Sharing Facility
• Leadership Capacity Building
• Viability assessment of grid-based solar
