Nepal: Support to PPP program (phase 2)

Building on previous PPIAF support on the development of Investment Board of Nepal’s (IBN) Project Bank Guidelines as well as FCCL management, this follow-on activity will focus on operationalizing the guidelines in terms of project preparation, structuring, procurement and management, as well as developing a framework to screen projects from a climate perspective. Specifically, this proposed activity is aimed at supporting  IBN in:
1.    Capacity building to operationalize the Project Bank guidelines;
2.    Preparation of standard RFQ/RFP templates; and
3.    Climate screening of IBN projects and identification of potential climate finance resources.
