LESOTHO: PPP Upstream Ecosystem Support

The objective of this activity is to strengthen public-private partnerships (PPPs) through advising on drafting a new PPP law and regulations, developing a climate-responsive project pipeline screening methodology, and providing targeted PPP capacity building. The overarching goal is to establish an efficient regulatory framework for the full project lifecycle, integrating climate resilience and gender responsiveness while also focusing on fiscal affordability, transparent procurement systems, clear contract management frameworks, and the development of guidelines for project finance support mechanisms.
