Global: Public Private Partnerships in Infrastructure Resources Center (PPPIRC) – Climate Resilience, Fragility, and Mobilizing Finance

Public-Private Partnerships, or PPPs, require solid regulatory and institutional frameworks as well as numerous documents, including contractual documents and other materials. PPIAF provides support for a valuable resource, the Public-Private Partnership Legal Resource Center (PPPLRC), to assist government officials and practitioners working to improve the enabling environment for PPPs. The PPPLRC contains sample documentation necessary for PPP agreements and concessions, including checklists, sample clauses, terms of reference, risk matrices, and standard bidding documents developed by government agencies. It also includes examples of sector legislation and regulations for PPPs. New content has been added with support from PPIAF, including additional pages on climate, COVID-19, water & sanitation, and more. These are designed to help practitioners find precedents on developing PPP-enabling environments, build solid project pipelines, and effectively structure PPP transactions. Materials are available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and Mandarin Chinese, drawn from initiatives from both developed and developing countries. Access resources on the PPPLRC website here.
