GLOBAL: International Experience with Subnational Debt Financing of Infrastructure in China

This activity aims to develop a workshop, jointly organized by the Chinese Ministry of Finance and the World Bank, with the intent to share international experience (mainly US experience) in : (i) developing regulatory frameworks for project bonds (i.e. revenue bonds), (ii) strengthening regulatory frameworks for pooled financing of infrastructure, and (iii) exploring other types of subnational bond instruments for infrastructure financing.
