GAMBIA: Energy Efficiency Strategy for The Gambia

The proposed PPIAF activity will empower the Gambia's government to create an enabling environment for Energy Efficiency (EE), including local capacity building, to prepare and implement  EE investments. This will allow for the private sector participation in the EE field and establish the market size of EE investments in public buildings. The team will develop The Gambia's first EE strategy, including identification of  high  impact opportunities; establish the enabling environment for EE including local capacity building to prepare and implement EE investments; and enable private sector participation in the EE field and establish the market size of EE investments in public buildings.
