ETHIOPIA: Supporting Improved Service Delivery for Universal Electrification

This activity supports the ongoing policy dialogue between the World Bank and the GoE in the current (ELEAP) and upcoming energy operations. In support of the GoE’s universal electrification agenda, the Bank Task Team will provide just-in-time and immediate advisory and technical assistance to sector agencies for the achievement of about 9 million off-grid connections by 2025. The activities planned under this proposal will provide immediate and key policy, operational, regulatory, and monitoring tools for the government to improve sector performance and implementation capacity with a focus on closing gender gaps on off-grid value chains.
