Cote d'Ivoire: Abidjan Rapid Mass Transit (BRT) Project

This activity aims to review the legal, regulatory, and institutional context of the urban transport sector in Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire) and to identify the PPP modes permitted within this framework that would allow for private participation in the proposed BRT. The activity will be part of a broader effort to assess the various PPP options for the infrastructure, the rolling stock and the operations & maintenance of the BRT and feeder system, where GIF has committed funds to co-finance the commercial and financial appraisal, market sounding, and preliminary PPP structuring.
