ANGOLA: Water Sector Assessment

This activity aims to support the Angola government in identifying private-sector opportunities in the water sector. The work will focus on the national level and include a deeper dive into opportunities for the Lobito, complementing ongoing PPIAF-funded work. Employing a Water Sector Assessment Program will help demonstrate the positive impact of investing in the sector and facilitate more organized private sector participation. This work will be delivered through the following assessments:
1.    Water Security, macro-economic and fiscal profile;
2.    Sector Investment Gap and Financial Balance;
3.    Water Markets Assessment;
4.    Service provider performance, financial sustainability & creditworthiness;
5.    Value Chain Opportunities Analysis and Financing Options;
6.    Summary of Findings and Recommendations and Water Sector Financing Options.
