AFRICA: South-South Academia Cooperation – Establishment of a sustainable knowledge sharing platform to explore PSP in transport sector with SSA universities

The objective of this activity is to partner with the Sub-Saharan Africa Transport Policy Program’s (SSATP) efforts to increase transportation capacity in cities and facilitate the creation of a sustainable collaboration model to develop sound policies and strategies that will lead to efficient, safe, and sustainable transport. This will be done by:
1.    Creating a collaborative network among Sub-Saharan African universities, and
2.    Enhancing capacity building capabilities related to private sector participation in urban mobility.
This will be further enhanced by direct involvement of local stakeholders and promoting a ‘train the trainers’ approach.
