Samuel Baiya
Samuel is a Kenyan national, joined PPIAF in April 2016 to support PPIAF activities in the Middle East & South, and East Africa Region specifically in projects origination, monitoring and evaluation as well as contribute to production of PPIAF knowledge, communication, and M&E products. An economist by training, Samuel has over nine years’ work experience in designing and implementing advisory and investment projects with expertise in water infrastructure finance, PPPs, project planning and development, project management and market research in the private and economic infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining PPIAF, Samuel led the WSP-DPSP global program supporting private sector led investment projects in 16 countries spread across Africa and Asia. Samuel holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from the University of Nairobi Kenya.
