ZAMBIA: Program to Improve the Commercial Viability of the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (Component 1)

Supporting the long-term sustainability of the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC) operations by ensuring that financial management best practices and operational improvements will be systematically adopted with the ultimate goal of allowing LWSC to qualify for private investments that are currently unavailable. PPIAF envisages a multi-year Technical Assistance program that comprises two components. Component A focuses upon improving the Commercial Viability of LWSC. Component B is aimed at strengthening institutional capacity to attract investments in WSS infrastructure. Activity 1-5 - Improve the Commercial Viability of the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company.
