TUNISIA: Support for PPPs in Rural Water Supply and Irrigation

The objective of this technical assistance is to strengthen water supply and irrigation services in selected rural areas in Tunisia by using private sector interventions to improve the management, delivery, capacity and operations of service providers. For rural water supply, the specific objective is to advise and support the Government of Tunisia with the design of a pilot program for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in rural water supply in the context of broader rural water management reforms in Tunisia. For rural water, the components are designed in 2 phases: • Phase I: Due Diligence and Selection of Pilot Sites • Phase II: Formulating the Public Service Delegation (PSD) Pilot Project
