Building the CMACs Capacity for Micro Lending in the Sanitation Sector - An activity to build the financial management, corporate governance and micro-finance lending capacity of 4-5 Cajas Municipales de Ahorro y Credito (CMACs. Activity 1: (i) Pre-screening of CMACs and key MFIs players; (ii)Market research and design of micro lending products; and (iii) Implementation and M&E of micro lending products. Activity 2: Market testing of the CSMI concept in 4 additional areas; the potential financing mechanisms, the efficiency of service/ product providers and other critical variables that will contribute to the success of the CSMI initiative.
