PERU: Component 1 of the Financing Universal Access to Water Supply and Sanitation

The PPIAF activity aimed to enhance SEDAPAR’s capacity in shaping its commercial finance strategy. An examination of SEDAPAR’s funding needs and borrowing capacity based on its business plan and financial statements as well as an evaluation of options for commercial financing – commercial loan or bond issuance was carried out through a pre-feasibility study. This analysis also included an analysis regulatory regime in the country; and summarize discussions with the potential debt creditors and public sector officials.
