MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA:MENA Municipal Services PPP Conference

The main objectives of the PPP conference are: 1) Building understanding among key municipal government officials and private sector representatives of the fundamentals of designing, structuring, tendering and implementing bankable PPPs; 2) Building consensus among stakeholders on the range of potential PPP models that could be used to deliver improved municipal infrastructure services; 3) Enhancing capacity and knowledge by targeting officials from local government and municipal corporations and their agencies tasked with developing and implementing PPP projects; 4) Identifying areas for further PPIAF engagement with municipal officials to support the development of municipal PPP programs; and 5) Dissemination and presentation of case studies of successful and unsuccessful PPP experiences, to extract lessons learned and best practices.
