LEBANON: Facilitating Sub-National Government Access to Commercial Credit and Capital Markets

In 2012 SNTA provided support for a diagnosis of the financial and administrative performance of the municipalities of Tripoli, Mina, and Beddawi, and the Al-Fayhaa Union of Municipalities. The diagnosis was used to provide credit rating reports for the municipalities and suggested key reforms to improve the municipalites' financial administration and increase access to capital markets.
