Lao PDR: Institutional readiness program for highway sector PPPs Phase II

The objective of this activity is to support the Government of Lao PDR (GoL) /Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) to i) build its capacity to complete the preparation of the National Road 13 (NR 13) PPP Project through the award of the concession to financial close and commencement of implementation; and ii) to develop a tolling regulatory framework for the NR 13 Project. The activity also aims to assist and advise MPWT in establishing an institutional framework to enable PPPs and to develop project procedures that will become a standard for future PPP projects..
