GUINEA: Energy Sector Hydro PPP - Capacity Building & Project Preparation

PPIAF assisted the power sector to attract private financing for large low cost, low carbon but capital intesive hydropower IPPs. Towards this end, this activity reviewed the effectiveness of the legislative framework, benchmarked hydro IPP projects in the region, reviewed the sector's investment and capacity needs, and developed standard documentation for IPPs.
