GLOBAL: Roundtable on Lessons Learned and Challenges of Value for Money Assessments

This activity supported a roundtable to facilitate discussions on VfM and allow participants to share their experiences and
lessons learned, with an aim of increasing transparency, efficiency and risk allocation in PPPs. Following the roundtable, a brief
summary of the discussions was produced and disseminated to client governments.

The scope of this activity was then expanded to include a brief knowledge product on a simplified VfM tool tailored to lowincome
countries’ needs. A brief report was produced summarizing the tool, how it should be used and demonstrating how it
was used for a pilot project in Tanzania. Finally, a BBL was organized in May 2015 to share the results of this report.
