ETHIOPIA: Support for Instituting a PPP Framework

PPIAF funded technical assistance in Ethiopia which included the development of a PPP policy, legal framework, draft legislation, and the generic PPP Guidelines/Manual. With PPIAF's support, the PPP Directorate within the Government of Ethiopia successfully developed a national PPP project pipeline as well as sector-specific PPP project screening guidelines to enable the identification of projects, which meet the requirements for being procured as PPPs.

Besides, the team prepared a draft of supplementary PPP Guidelines for the line ministries to build capacity at the local level.
